Next comes Christmas.... and then New Years!!

This year we had to go to Arizona to get a white Christmas!! haha.... sounds like a funny joke I know! But seriously it snowed while we were in Mesa, AZ for Christmas this past year! Our stay ended up being much longer than planned due to our car trying to go for a swim...  no more Mazda :( But we made it back to Colorado a week late, one car less, lots more toys and of course tons of fun memories!!!!

Only in AZ would the weather be perfect for a hike in December.

I realize this was almost a year ago now but for journaling purposes...

The one time all year that my whole side of the family is usually together is for Thanksgiving. So naturally we all look so forward to this all year long! Well unfortunately this year, there was a little damper on the week... ok a BIG one!!! All 21 of us got sick with the stomach flu during the one week we were together! :( It was no fun at all! We managed to sneak in a little bit of fun still and of course Mom's family pictures! Here are just a few of the whole fam and our little Meryhew gang.

What we have been up to lately...

So of course it has been a while AGAIN since I have posted anything. I really need to be better at being more consistent. But we do have some fun things to share! With Ryan's school schedule this semester, he has been able to spend a lot more time at home with Kilee and I. It has been so much fun to have all this family time and has allowed us to be able to go do some fun things together.

Kilee loves her bath! The only bad part about it is getting out... :( This is our nightly routine and so she knows it is coming and sometimes gets just a little bit crazy. ha ha! It is so cute even if we get a little soaked with her along the way.

2 Years Down and Eternity to Go!! Yeah!!

So this year for mine and Ryan's 2 year anniversary, Ryan surprised me with a weekend trip to San Diego... specifically Coronado Island! It was the best surprise ever. The only hard part was having to leave Kilee. :( I was so sad when we left and missed her like crazy but we were still able to have a great time! Not a whole lot of planned events but that was just the way we wanted it. We came back with so many memories and a whole lot of pictures. Yeah!

Outside of our hotel there was this little pond of flamingos! I had never seen them in real life... Crazy I know!

Ry got this Dodge Challenger for us to drive around in style all weekend.

After the sun was mostly down we found a log to sit on along this trail and snuggle up and talk. Soo fun and soo cold.

Back to the beautiful San Diego temple where we were married just 2 years earlier. Crazy how time flies!

We went to a light house at Point Loma and the view was so amazing.

Here is a better picture of the view. Off to the left is Coronado Island from the other side  of it opposite the San Diego side. It really is a pretty big island! I had no idea until we drove around the whole thing.

Thanks again Ry! You are simply the bestest husband ever! We didn't need to spend any money to have a great time. Just as long as we were together we had the best time. Love you bunches my love! :)
