Tubby Time!

Kilee loves her bath! The only bad part about it is getting out... :( This is our nightly routine and so she knows it is coming and sometimes gets just a little bit crazy. ha ha! It is so cute even if we get a little soaked with her along the way.

2 Years Down and Eternity to Go!! Yeah!!

So this year for mine and Ryan's 2 year anniversary, Ryan surprised me with a weekend trip to San Diego... specifically Coronado Island! It was the best surprise ever. The only hard part was having to leave Kilee. :( I was so sad when we left and missed her like crazy but we were still able to have a great time! Not a whole lot of planned events but that was just the way we wanted it. We came back with so many memories and a whole lot of pictures. Yeah!

Outside of our hotel there was this little pond of flamingos! I had never seen them in real life... Crazy I know!

After the sun was mostly down we found a log to sit on along this trail and snuggle up and talk. Soo fun and soo cold.

Back to the beautiful San Diego temple where we were married just 2 years earlier. Crazy how time flies!

Here is a better picture of the view. Off to the left is Coronado Island from the other side  of it opposite the San Diego side. It really is a pretty big island! I had no idea until we drove around the whole thing.

Thanks again Ry! You are simply the bestest husband ever! We didn't need to spend any money to have a great time. Just as long as we were together we had the best time. Love you bunches my love! :)

Yucky carrots!

Kilee's so exciting debut of baby food was actually when she was about 5 months old so we are a little out of order here... so sorry! Man, was her reaction face funny though. She was not a huge fan of the carrots at first... probably cause the taste was just so different from anything she had ever tasted but now she loves them.

Ok, I know I am the mom and all but this little girl is just too stinkin cute for words! I could literally watch her and take pictures of her all day long. Which if you hadn't already noticed, she would be ok with that since she loves the camera. She is always so happy as it is, so it is pretty easy to catch her smiling for a picture, but she really is pretty photogenic. So these pictures were just taken when we got home from church one Sunday out in Georgia. She looked too stinking cute and was just a couple days away from her 6 month birthday so we sat her down on the couch and started snappin. Hope everyone likes them as much as we do! :)

Kilee's 3 Month Pictures!

They aren't professional or anything but here is our adorable Kilee at 3 months old. 

Our Kilee Jade has finally made her Grand Entrance... and of course fashionably late!

So our little miracle, Kilee Jade Meryhew, joined our family on February 10, 2010 at 5:34 p.m. Weighing in at 8.0 lbs. and measuring 20.5 inches long. ( She is definitely a Meryhew! :) She will probably be taller than her mother before she ever even starts kindergarten. ) Kilee was due on February 7th so being the stubborn girl that we have come to learn she is, she decided to come 3 days late. But even still she did not come on her own! On the morning of the 10th we checked in to the hospital at 6:00 a.m. and by the time they got everything set up and ready to go they induced me at around 8:30. It turns out I was actually already having contractions on my own and just didn't even know it so that probably helped the process along! It also helped having Ryan and my mom with a Friends DVD there to pass the time. :) So the contractions continued while also getting stronger now and at about 4:00 I was really getting into strong labor and it was time to start pushing! After an hour and a half, lots of pain and tears from her mother, the vacuum, and many prayers and words of encouragement from the millions of nurses in the room, Kilee came into this world healthy and beautiful and I was holding her in my arms! And only then was it all worth it! As I already said Kilee is so beautiful... I could literally look at her all day long and never get bored! I know I may be a little partial being the proud Mommy and all but it really is true! The only thing that could possibly be even more satisfying is to see her proud Daddy admiring her and loving her and seeing how quickly he is getting wrapped around her finger! I can hardly wait for her to get bigger and to get to see and know her cute personality but yet at the same time I want her to stay just the way she is forever and never grow up! I don't want to miss anything! Even not holding her... I miss her! ha ha! Crazy I know! I already worry about her being perfectly healthy and happy and strong and being able to give her everything she deserves! I can't even begin to explain the feelings I have for her over these past couple weeks but i just really LOVE her soo much!!! Ryan is the husband I only dreamed of! He is my everything and makes me so happy but together Kilee is mine and Ryan's world! I used to wonder if I was really ready to be a mom and if I was going to be a good parent but now Ryan and I both could not imagine life without our little Kilee Jade! She brings us so much joy! And hopefully we will be able to figure out how to be the parents we wish to be! I have such a happy and amazing marriage with Ryan that is not only for time but also for eternity and now we have our precious girl that will be sealed to us forever! All of my life goals and dreams are coming true right before my eyes and I feel so extremely blessed! What more could I ask for?! :)

BIG news but.... NO camera!

Ok, so first for the BIG news! Ryan and I are gonna have our first little one to join our family here for everyone to see in February! 9 months seems like such a LONG time but when you think of all the preperation (mentally and physically) phew that is not so much time! And 3 months have already come and past! Despite all that logical, reality, boring stuff though... we are SO excited! I feel so unbelievably blessed and can't wait to hold our new baby in my arms! I know soon after I will be taking all the help anyone has to offer and most likely not so enthusiastic about motherhood but at the end of the day I would have to say the good moments have to far out weigh the not so pleasant! So far Ryan wants it to be a boy, I would be the happiest new mommy with either... but definitely NOT both (NO twins for me!) and everyone else keeps telling us it is gonna be a girl! So basically we got nothin! :) I guess we will have to just wait a couple more months to see! We'll keep ya updated! Oh, and we will get pictures on here too as soon as we can!
That leads us to the No camera business! Ok so we actually do have a camera that is on loan to us for the time being but we unfortunately don't have the cord to download our pictures on the computer! Such a bummer! So until we can get all that figured out, these posts may be a little boring! I mean we have gone through 3 months of pregnancy, both of our birthdays, and a whole summer in super exciting Cleveland, Ohio! So much fun I tell you! Ok so the last one is not so much exciting but regardless lots of memories have come out of our summer in the Apex summer sales world! ha ha! So for now, that's all I got but I promise to make them more exciting to look at very soon! Just 2 weeks and we will be leaving this town and on to COLORADO!
